HeliSpec™ Support
When produced as solid material, without porosity, HeliSpec™ is a unique catalyst support medium for optimal catalyst reactor cooling.
HeliSpec™ can be loaded directly on top of the catalyst support grid as one layer to substitute two or more layers of graded ceramic balls, as is conventionally done.
HeliSpec™ support can be loaded to the bottom of a reactor as single layer contrary to the conventional three or more layers of ceramic balls.
High surface area and low mass of HeliSpec™ significantly decrease reactor cooling time and contributes to more efficient shutdowns.
